INDEPENDENCE DAY

        



                    Independence Day is a day when many people, including government officials, employees, and students, participate in nationwide parades.  However, the main highlight is the police and military parade in Manila headed by the country’s incumbent president, followed by a speech and a 21-gun salute.  Many Filipinos spend the day in parks and malls. Many Filipino communities in other countries also observe the nation’s Independence Day celebrations. 

Our main goal in celebrating Independence Day is to educate our young generation about the pride and courage of our great independence warriors as well as colonial domination. It was the day when we put aside our cultural differences and came together as true Indians. The necessity for youth awareness exists because the nation's destiny rests on the kid and his or her ability to influence the country. As a result, it is our responsibility to serve the country and make every effort to improve society. This day is marked by a strong sense of patriotism and nationalism across the country. This day also represents our pride and solidarity in the country's diversity. 

Filipinos are well-versed in the events of that historic day. The new national flag was flown, the new national anthem was played, and the Filipinos became the first Asian colony to declare independence.There are many reasons to commemorate Independence Day in the Philippines, including remembering our heroes' sacrifices and appreciating sovereignty, showing your love for your country, and spreading Filipino awareness. Philippine Independence Day is one of the most important days in the Philippines' calendar.

I wanted to take a moment to thank President Duterte. Thank you Mr. President for getting up every day, putting on your suit and working for the Filipino people. Thank you for facing the issues and problems of the nation and world every hour everyday. Thank you for taking a stand and giving your all to deliver the best decision and outcome possible for the Filipino people.
