THEMATIC 4TH QUARTER

Image
" The Environmental and Health Effects of Waste Management"  Zero waste is a collection of waste prevention concepts that encourages resource life cycle redesign such that all items are reused. The ultimate goal is to avoid sending rubbish to landfills, incinerators, or the ocean. Only 9% of plastic is really recycled at the moment. Material will be reused until the optimal level of consumption is reached in a zero waste system. Pollution and environmental degradation are not new phenomena. Pollution, in reality, has been a concern since the time of our forefathers. God gave nature to His children to utilize and take care of it, not abuse it. We understand that all created things belong to God and that as stewards of the creation, we are responsible to Him. To fulfill the objectives God intended for all of creation, He has given us the task of ruling over everything in a way that supports, protects, and enhances His handiwork. Though, this has been ignored by many. We are to...

FATHERS DAY

Image
Father's Day is a holiday of honoring fatherhood and paternal bonds, as well as the influence of fathers in society. In Catholic countries of Europe, it has been celebrated on March 19 as Saint Joseph's Day since the Middle Ages. In the United States, Father's Day was founded by Sonora Smart Dodd, and celebrated on the third Sunday of June for the first time in 1910. The day is held on various dates across the world, and different regions maintain their own traditions of honoring fatherhood. In all our good times and bad times, our family supports us with the best care. Every member of the family plays a vital role in our life. Father is the one who is the head of the family and the one on whom all the family members can rely. We consider all our fathers as our first superhero, who teaches us about good and evil. For a complete family, both support of our father and our mother are necessary. That is why we celebr...

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Image
Independence Day is a day when many people, including government officials, employees, and students, participate in nationwide parades.  However, the main highlight is the police and military parade in Manila headed by the country’s incumbent president, followed by a speech and a 21-gun salute.  Many Filipinos spend the day in parks and malls. Many Filipino communities in other countries also observe the nation’s Independence Day celebrations.  Our main goal in celebrating Independence Day is to educate our young generation about the pride and courage of our great independence warriors as well as colonial domination. It was the day when we put aside our cultural differences and came together as true Indians. The necessity for youth awareness exists because the nation's destiny rests on the kid and his or her ability to influence the country. As a result, it is our respo...

3RD QUARTER

My greatest accomplishment this quarter is my writing. Since we have learned so much about Shakespeare, we often wrote, analyzed, or discussed the texts; all three of which helped improve my writing. Then as well we had a reading assignment where we needed to involve different mindsets and abilities. I chose to interview people and compare their results to the characters in my book, through an informative essay. This project helped improve my comparative skills and the ability to draw conclusions. Looking back, I can tell there were some major gaps in my writing, and there still is, however compared to the beginning of the year and even the previous quarter my writing has drastically improved. My greatest accomplishment in quarter 3 is definitely my improved writing.

THEMATIC OUTPUT

"Our voice is the future" ‘As women, we have superpowers. We are sisters. We are healers. We are mothers. We are goddess warriors.” Women empowerment refers to making women powerful to make them capable of deciding for themselves. Women have suffered a lot through the years at the hands of men. In earlier centuries, they were treated as almost non-existent. As if all the rights belonged to men even something as basic as voting. As the times evolved, women realized their power. There on began the revolution for women empowerment. As women were not allowed to make decisions for them, women empowerment came in like a breath of fresh air. It made them aware of their rights and how they must make their own place in society rather than depending on a man. It recognized the fact that things cannot simply work in someone’s favor because of their gender. However, we still have a long way to go when we talk about the reasons why we need it. Almost every country, no matter how progress...
